Tool Company recently engineered and manufactured a mirror image
pair of cutter stacks for use in a “jump cope” machine that performs
end-work on soft wood rails, in this instance, for the window
industry. The two stacks work in tandem with each other; ten
different profiles in each stack cut part way through the material
from both directions to eliminate tear out on the end grain of the
wood. Vortex Tool Company, Inc., designs and manufactures a wide variety of standard and custom high-performance router and insert cutting tools for the woodworking industry,
