Larger profiles are now much safer to run, and tool performance is enhanced because these units are much stronger as the traditional shank to collet connection is eliminated. In addition, the new design allows the work envelope to be much closer to the end of the spindle which greatly improves stability, reduces deflection and creates more Z axis height.
