Tool Company recently engineered and manufactured a mirror image pair of cutter
stacks for use in a “jump cope” machine that performs end-work on soft wood
rails, in this instance, for the window industry. The two stacks work in tandem
with each other; ten different profiles in each stack cut part way through the
material from both directions to eliminate tear out on the end grain of the
wood.
